100th Post!

Most people who know me, know that I change my mind ALL the time. Well I have changed what I want to do for a career. As much as I would LOVE to go to Le Cordon Bleu for baking and pastry arts, I would much rather be a labor and delivery nurse! Nurses are always needed.
So starting this coming fall, I am hoping to begin school at Lewis Clark State College to get on the road to getting my bachelor's in nursing. I am so excited I can hardly stand to wait!

New Truck!

A day before Max left to go back to Iraq, we bought a new truck. We didn't even think we'd get approved for the loan because we've had bad credit issues in the last few years...but we did get approved! The loan is 0% APR for 60 months. So we couldn't pass it up. We need a truck because we are always asking people to help us haul things, and now we can do it ourselves! We figured if we were good enough with our credit to raise it almost 200 points in 1 year, then we deserve a new truck.

Isn't it so beautiful!? It's a 2011 Toyota Tundra Sports Pack. One of my favorite features-a back up camera! When you put the truck in reverse, the video appears on the rear view mirror. Pretty nifty. I love this truck so much already, and I feel so bad that Max only got to drive it for one day until he had to go back.
Luckily we haven't any lectures about buying this truck. We did our budget before buying, and we can definitely afford it. And most importantly...we deserve it!

R&R

Max came home for R&R earlier this month and got to be home for 2 weeks. (That is the excuse for the lack of blog posts) Those 2 weeks were AMAZING. It didn't feel like he was going back. While he was home, we went to the Couer D Alene resort and spa. The package that Max had purchased included a honeymoon suite, 2-50 minute Swedish massages, any 2 dinner entrees at a 5 star restaurant, and 2 breakfasts.
The room was so nice! It had a drop down living room with a fireplace and balcony! The bathroom had a shower and garden tub. There were mirrors above our bed, which actually really creeped us out! I didn't like that at all. Other than that, the room was very nice.
The spa at the Couer D Alene Resort was voted the most romantic spa. Let me tell ya, I completely agree! This spa is AMAMZING. I would recommend anyone to go. It's spendy, but totally worth every dollar! They have fountains everywhere. It's not noisy. When Max and I got there, they showed us around, and then gave us warm robes and sandals. I went to the women's dressing room, and Max went to the men's. Then we met in a Co-Ed room for couples. This room was so bright and relaxing. There was a fireplace in there and couches to relax on. They waited on us like we were royalty! They had fruit water there that was so good. It was just water with lemon slices, strawberry slices, and cucumber slices-very refreshing! They then brought us into the couples massage room. The beds were water beds just big enough for 1 person. The massage room was dark, and relaxing. They had us pick out the oil we wanted for our massage, and then they left the room, so we could disrobe and get into the beds. The beds were draped in a sheet and blanket. When they came back in to do the massages, they only pulled out the body part they were going to massage, so that you didn't have to expose much. It was very nice. After the massages, they offered us a complimentary shower(which normally costs $25). The reason it is so expensive is because there are only 5 showers like this in the world! There are 19 heads in this shower, and you get sprayed from almost every direction. The lady said that it sprays 80gallons of water a minute...and the shower lasts for 7 amazing minutes! It is all computerized. You put in your height, how much of your body you want showered(head & body or just your body), then you select the type of shower you want(relief, relax, etc) Then you get in, and hold onto handles on both sides of the shower, and prepare for amazement.
The dinner was very fancy, and would have been very expensive for us.(The bill totaled almost $140!) We both ordered the same thing. It was USDA beef flown in from Chicago(never frozen). The beef had a slice of herb butter on top, with some greens on top. Then a pile of mashed potatoes with a fresh potato chip with herbs pressed into it placed on top, and seasonal veggies on the side.
I recommend going to this resort/spa! It was a great getaway!
Max also got to be home for little miss Allie turning 1 year old! We had a B-Day party for her, and it turned out great.
The 2 weeks felt like longer than 2 weeks, which is great! Only about 5 more months until he comes home for good!!

Indecisive

I am one of the MOST indecisive people you will ever meet. I have a hard time decided on most anything!
For example:
-I want to move to LA for better opportunities, but I also want to stay here in Lewiston. I love Lewiston.
-I want to go to Le Cordon Bleu for baking and pastry arts, but I also want to go to school to be a labor and delivery nurse.
-When we go out to eat at restaurants, I'll decide on something I want, but then change my mind a million times.(This was magnified when I was pregnant)

The list goes on and on. Why can't I just know for sure what I want?
