Goodness Gracious!

So my mom emailed me this picture of me when I was a baby. Allie looks IDENTICAL to me when I was a baby. It is pretty crazy! Let me know what you think.

Snot, cough, and a whole lot of tears

Our poor baby girl has been sick for about a week now, coughing in her sleep(and occasionally not in her sleep), she has a constant runny nose, and is extremely grumpy most of the day. So I took her in to her doctor today. Turns out, she has a sinus infection. Her doctor said her nasal passages are swollen. She is now on her first prescription medicine ever!She should be getting better soon!

Anniversary

Max and I first got together January 23, 2005. That means in 2 days it is our 6 year anniversary! I made him this video last night. Hope you enjoy it as much as Max did!

It's been a while!

Allie and I have both been pretty sick with a bad cold. I feel so bad for her because at night she has a hard time breathing through her nose, so she wakes up often crying. I have been rubbing Vicks on her chest to hopefully help her out.
I got my hair colored the other day. It's a lot darker. I love it. This coming Thursday I will be getting a perm! I haven't had one in a few years. I'm nervous, but also excited.
The diet I have been doing is going great!! As of today I have lost 13lbs...and it's only day 9! Pretty amazing to step on the scale every morning and see the pounds shredding!

10 Months

I cannot believe it. Our baby girl is 10 months old today...and man have they flown by! That means only 2 months until she is 1. About 2 months until Max comes home for R&R.
Allie has 2 teeth poking through her bottom gums!!! I am so excited.

Diet!

My New Years resolution is a classic...to lose weight and feel better about myself. I have started the HCG diet and have lost 2 pounds since this morning! It's exciting. I am excited to be a better looking me!

They Grow So Fast!

Babies grow SO fast!! It feels like just yesterday that I was in labor with Allie, and now she is almost 10 months old. Today I was looking at pictures of Allie the day she was born. It makes me so sad that she has grown so fast. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE watching her grow and learn. I just don't like how fast it goes by...that she has changed so much, and I can't tell until I look at her pictures growing up. 

Now it is time for baby # 2! Haha. People are always asking us when #2 will happen. Well as much as we'd like number 2 as soon as we can, we are going to wait about another year and a half. That's the plan anyways...although, when Max comes home, we wouldn't mind having another right away. We will see.

First Tooth!!!

Allie has FINALLY done it. She cut her very first tooth today! When this tooth comes all the way out, I will take a picture and post it on here for you all to see.

First Shiner

Yep. Allie fell very hard today, and unfortunately her right cheek caught her fall. She was standing, holding onto my friend's hand, and she fell face first, and hit her cheek hard on a toy drum. It bruised instantly. She cried so hard, and I cried too. I hate that feeling, knowing that she is in pain. She has been grumpy since. Poor thing!

These pictures really do the bruise no justice! It looks way worse in person.

It's been a while!

I am so behind! It's been way too long since I have updated this blog.

Allie and I's Christmas was alright. It was probably my worst Christmas yet, but we made the best of it. We got to see family, which was nice. 

Great news! My mom is coming to visit me this week!! I am super excited. She will probably be here on my birthday, which is Thursday. I will be 22, and I can't even believe it.
