New hair!

So I went to the salon yesterday and got my hair done. I absolutely love it, and I love the women at the salon I go to. They are always good, and never disappoint!

Baby #2

No. I'm not pregnant. BUT we do want a baby #2! I'd like to try for #2 on Max's leave, but he wants to be here for the whole pregnancy, so looks like my baby fever will have to be on hold for about 6 more months til Max comes home from Iraq. Booo.

There's No Place Like Home

Max is going to be coming home in just a couple weeks!!! I am super excited. I can't wait to see him, and for him to see Allie! He'll only be home for 2 weeks, but we are going to make the BEST of those 2 weeks. We have made lots of plans.
One of those plans was a surprise to me from Max. We're going to go stay a night at the Coeur D'Alene resort and spa. We will have all meals paid for and a 1 hour couples massage. It will be a nice mini vacation. It will be my first night away from Allie. I hope I take it well. I'm sure I will, I just don't like being away from her for too long. Max and I don't like to leave her often. The first time we even went on a date after she was born and left her with anyone was when she was 5 months old. Anyways(kinda went off subject there)...I'm so excited!!

Almost that time.

Allie can stand by herself, but she gets scared and sits down. I know she will be walking very soon. I just hope that she waits for her daddy to come home next month to do it!!

"One fell off and bumped her head"

So yesterday was a lesson learning day for me! Allie was on my bed and I was in my bathroom. I was watching her in the bathroom mirror(I can see my bed from my bathroom mirror). She was at the end of my bed, holding onto the end of the bed frame. She was looking at her reflection in the mirror that is on my closet door. She decided that she wanted to crawl to the baby in the mirror, and crawled right over the end of the bed! I ran, but didn't make it fast enough to catch her. She fell and hit the top of her head. She was OK, she was just more scared than anything! My lesson learned--Never trust Allie alone on the bed. haha

Moving!

Max and I have decided that within the next few years, we will be moving to Los Angeles! People keep asking us why...the answer-because there are so many more opportunities there for us...for Allie. We figure we will give it a try. If we don't like it, we can always move back home. We don't wanna look back at our lives and say that we wish we would have done this. You only have one life to live, why not live it to the fullest!? When we move there, I am thinking that I want to go to Le Courdon Bleu. I want to get an associates or bachelor's degree in baking and pastry arts! I love baking sooo much that I figure that is the perfect way to go for me. Big things are going to be happening for us soon, and I can't wait!

R&R

Max will be home for R&R in about a month!!! I can't wait! I get butterflies every time I think about it. I've missed him soooo much.

Procrastinator!

I am probably the world's biggest procrastinator! I am wanting to make Allie a quilt for her birthday, and I bought the fabric, but I just haven't started yet! I even have the sewing machine. I need to learn how to use it.
I also have 2 packages that I have been meaning to mail to Max for a couple weeks now, but I haven't had any help to mail them!(It's hard to mail 2 large boxes when you have a baby to carry too).My point...I need to light a fire and get these things done!!
